We understand the importance of fuel reduction and healthy forests to reduce the potential of catastrophic wildfire that damage local communities and forests. This is why our involvement in numerous forestry fuel reduction, mastication, prescribed burn and thinning projects for Federal, State and various Fire Safe Councils and private landowners is so important to us. Our goal is to determine and implement targeted control and elimination of unwanted vegetation. This includes hazard tree identification and removal, implementing strategies to minimize the establishment of incompatible species under and near power lines and the control of weeds. Our staff is comprised of highly experienced foresters, fire fighters, equipment operators, skilled specialized labor and supervisors. Bordges Timber Inc is insured and bondable. In recent years Bordges Timber Inc has done Fuel Reduction projects with USFS, Nevada Dept of Forestry, PG&E, Cal Fire, El Dorado County Fire Safe, Amador County Fire Safe, Butt County, AT&T, Lake County Water Agency and BLM. These projects have included mastication, whole tree thinning, chipping, grapple piling and brush piling. Tim has 40+ years of timber and in the woods experience. He has purchased timber sales on the Tahoe National Forest, El Dorado National Forest, Plumas and Stanislaus National Forest as well as extensive logging experience and is qualified in skidding and felling. Tim has served as the past President of the California Loggers Association, is a Board member on the California’s Cattlemen’s Association and National Wildfire Suppression Association. Cody grew up working heavy equipment and construction jobs. He spent over 8 years working wildland firefighting working heavy equipment and civil construction. He worked as a Superintendent for a world-wide corporation for over 10 years, doing heavy civil demolition work. Cody has been with Bordges Timber for over 4 years doing right-away clearing, and holds a Calss A Licenses.
